In Baisha, Penghu, there stands a house built for love.

He, an architect at heart.
She, a lover of music and painting.
They met at a time when they had nothing.

For love, she let go of a stable life to build a dream with him.
For her, he personally designed this building as a gift for her fiftieth birthday.

They gave this house the name of their wedding theme song—
“A Promise Beneath the Rainbow.”

It was a gift of time, a symbol of love,
and the very first shape of the spirit of Leisure Time.

"The Promise Under the Rainbow"

The male homeowner, who loves architecture, met the female homeowner, who loves music and painting, when he had nothing in his life. The two met, fell in love, got to know each other, and cherished each other. The female homeowner gave up her own ideals and resigned from her stable civil service career to support the male homeowner's dream and help him develop the bed and breakfast business. For more than ten years, she worked tirelessly and never abandoned him. In order to thank the female homeowner for her dedication, the male homeowner designed this building as a 50th birthday gift for her. He named the building after the theme song of their wedding, "The Promise Under the Rainbow" to witness their eternal love.

The story begins with the sea breeze

At the end of the sea, time learns to slow down.

The wind in Baisha has a salty taste and a warm temperature.
The afternoon sun streamed into the room, and the aroma of tea mingled with the scent of the sea—that was the most natural form of "leisure."

Here, we welcome our first friend with the first pot of tea, and through conversations and smiles, we learn to let life return to its simplest rhythm.

"Half-Day Leisure" was born by the sea, starting with the sea breeze, turning every moment of pause into a rest for the mind.

In 2015, this became the very first home of Leisure Time.
From the gentle curves of the architecture to the warmth of the wood, every detail holds the couple’s promise to the life they chose to build together.

“A Promise Beneath the Rainbow” — this building, born of love, is more than just a space.
It symbolizes the warmth of mutual understanding, mutual cherishing, and lifelong companionship, and has become the spiritual heart of the Leisure Time brand.

Here, we have learned how to find peace and softness within everyday life.

hat Summer, We Stole a Few Leisurely Hours from Life.

The name Leisure Time is inspired by a poem by Tang dynasty poet Li She:

“Drowsy and drunk, I passed the day as if in a dream.
Hearing that spring was ending, I forced myself up the mountain.
Passing by a bamboo courtyard, I stopped to speak with a monk—
and stole from this fleeting life a few hours of leisure.”

This is where love and dreams began.
It is also the origin of the spirit of Leisure Time:
